As a special thank you to all my loaders out there in LHS 3447. You know who you are. Thank you. What we do isn’t fancy work. What we do isn’t even particularly enjoyable work. In fact, when it comes down to it, the work we do is down right purposeful as fuck.
Bet you didn’t see that coming.
Colonia represents one of the biggest goals we’ve ever set for ourselves as a community. It’s expansive when you get right down to it. Maybe we don’t get the glory of finally making a 22,000 light-year journey to Colonia. Some of us, can’t even afford the ships necessary to make such a long distance journey. But that, really, isn’t the point is it?
We load because it must be done.
This goal will not be accomplished without your work. We could have 50 more fully engineered high ranged Anacondas waiting in the wing. But with no one willing to actually bring them cargo? We fail. In the past two weeks, I’ve gotten to know many of you. I’ve gotten to see your teamwork first hand. I’ve witnessed nothing short of a well oiled machine of humans working with minimal need for direct supervision. Bravo ladies and gents. We couldn’t ask for a grittier bunch.
Enjoy your new logo, loaders. See you at the next union meeting.
